OUR VISION

EXPANDING GOD’s KINGDOM AMONG FARSI-SPEAKERS

The church in Iran is growing the fastest among all Islamic countries. Although printed Bibles are prohibited in Iran and other Farsi-speaking countries, Mehr Reformed Ministries (MRM) is providing digital access to the Word of God, Bible study tools and other resources.

OUR MISSION

MAKING DISCIPLES AMONG FARSI-SPEAKERS

Mehr Reformed Ministries exists to provide biblical and theological training to the next generation of Farsi-speaking Christian disciples in Iran and the Middle East. Characteristic of a strong reformed tradition, Mehr is committed to restoring access and understanding of the Word of God to a resource-deprived language group.

OUR VISION

EXPANDING GOD’sDOM KING

Iran is the number one of church growing among Islamic countries, but we have a lack of discipleships program and solid theological and biblical resources among these believers and underground churches. We want the expanding God’s kingdom, share the gospel faithfully, help the underground Church’sleaders to grow, and extending Christ’s reign to the Farsi speakersin Iran, Afghanistan, and all around the world, and be a voice of reformed theology among them. Bible publishing is prohibited and limited in Iran, so in Mehr Reformed Ministries we want to make it easy for all people to have access to the Bible and resources and equip the next generation of disciples and equip them with reformed and covenantal theology.

OUR MISSION

MAKING DISCIPLES

We are called to be obedient, 2 Timothy 2:2, to teach truths to trustworthy people to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to denying themselves, and equip them as next generation of disciples to go and teach others.

Our VALUE

REFORMED AND COVENANTAL

Our ministry, is guided, shaped, and inspired by our theology.

OUR BELIEFS

We are group of Jesus followers who are a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a denomination committed to the full authority and truthfulness of Scripture, the glory of God in all things, and the worldwide proclamation of the good news about Jesus’s death and resurrection in our place. We are subscribing to the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms as excellent summaries of biblical doctrine, though subordinate to Scripture itself.Mehr is a reformational ministry, which means that we are connected to the Holy Spirit’s work in the protestant reformation of the 16th & 17th centuries and seek to participate in the Spirit’s ongoing reformation of the church universal today. We are a Presbyterianministry, which means that we are not independent, but connected to a large family of like-minded churches across North Texas and all over the United States and Canada.

Our beliefs can be briefly summarized as follows:

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

The Trinity

There is one God, eternal and self-existing in three persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) who are to be equally loved, honored, and adored.

The Fall

All mankind participated in Adam’s fall from his original sinless state and is thus lost in sin and totally helpless.

The Sovereignty of God

The Sovereign God, for no other reason than His own unfathomable love and mercy, has chosen lost sinners from every nation to be redeemed by the quickening power of the Holy Spirit and through the atoning death and resurrection of His son, Jesus Christ.

The Perseverance of the Saints

Those sinners whom the Spirit quickens, come to believe in Christ as Savior by the Word of God, are born again, become sons of God, and will persevere to the end.

Justification

Justification is by faith and through it the undeserving sinner is clothed with the righteousness of Christ.

Heaven and Hell

At death the Christian’s soul passes immediately into the presence of God and the unbeliever’s soul is eternally separated from God unto condemnation.

Baptism

Baptism is a sign and seal of God’s covenant and is properly administered to children of believers in their infancy as well as to those who come as adults to trust in Christ.

Salvation

The goal of God’s salvation in the life of the Christian is holiness, good works, and service for the glory of God.

The Second Coming

Jesus Christ will return to earth, visibly and bodily, at a time when He is not expected, to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.
